RingCentral "Glip" App missing functionality to connect with Max Agent for InContact using station ID

The RingCentral "phone" App connects to Max Agent for Incontact using the station ID. However, the "Glip" App does not.  This means that if you are an agent with only a mobile phone as your device, you cannot connect to Max/Incontact.

We have issues with softphone in the business and so cannot use this. Using the RingCentral phone number to log in may incur additional costs per call and so we don't want to go down that route either.

This seems to be a piece of functionality that has been left out of the new app - can you build it back in please and/or suggest a sensible alternative?

Hi Julie, I am working with a new RC/inContact customer.  I don't know about the mobile apps but we do have agents using Glip as their exclusive softphone endpoint.  When the agent logs into Max with the station ID it is properly routing and ringing to Glip on their PC.  Not sure if this helps.

Thanks Robert, unfortunately we are unable to use softphones at the moment due to citrix/quality issues but this will be useful once we manage to move away from citrix!

It seems strange that the station ID will connect to a Glip endpoint on softphone but not mobile though so more food for thought!

Any update on this? Curious if MaxAgent is now working in the RC.app (aka Glip).

Also curious, we have tried both RC Phone App, and RingCentral app (glip), and none ring reliably from the max agent

Edit: Have also added user cell phone # within call handling with no results as well. Kind of hesitant to add their cell # in manually > station ID as there is a cost associated
