Detailed description of problem (Some users report the following error when attempting to join a RingCentral meeting:

"Leave meeting
The meeting has an unexpected error. Error code: 100060000")

Goal (Join meetings successfully)
Previous troubleshooting steps taken (Rebooted, reinstalled, launched as admin)
Software version (4.4.18643.0105)
If desk-phone related, have you rebooted phone? (NA)
Number of Users and/or Digital Lines affected (NA)

This error could be caused by several things. 

The most common cause is due to Windows UAC (requiring admin to install).

 

Other causes –

The target disk is full
An antivirus software like AVG that could have quarantined the files that were
downloaded by the Zoom installer

Solution:

  • Please check your disc space
    for sufficient space.

  • Please download the Zoom client installer manually and then install it.  https://zoom.us/download

  • If the problem persists, please get this installer.txt file located at
    c:/users/username/AppData/Roaming/Zoom. Then submit a ticket along with the
    installer.txt file."

I'm having the same issue.  I have un-installed and had the admin re-install, and there is no issue with disk space.  Any other suggestions?  This app is used for a weekly status call with an outside committee, so it would be great if I could actually use it.

Hello Denise,

If you haven't done so already, I would suggest opening up a case with us. As Mike mentioned, there could be several things causing this issue.

Apparently I can't open a case because I don't have a RingCentral account.  I'm only using the service because a third party uses it for hosting.

@Denise, our users with this issue have been finding success by installing the Zoom Client for Meetings, which RingCentral Meetings is based off of, and then using the RingCentral meeting ID.

We continue to use RingCentral Meetings for remote meetings, but are moving to other solutions for remote support since none of the issues we've had with using the software for this purpose have been addressed.

Please develop a RingCentral Meetings app that is compatible with Microsoft Surface Pro 4. My Pro 4 is my primary business device but is unable to operate RingCentral Meetings for audio/web/video conferencing. I repeatedly get this error after typing in a valid Meeting ID:



I was told by RingCentral support that RC Meetings only works with Windows-based laptops and desktops, but not Windows-based mobile devices. I've never considered my Surface Pro 4 a mobile device in the traditional sense, but I suppose it is technically a tablet, even though I dock it and use it with multiple monitors as my primary work device.
