Have RingOut show the RingCentral Number, not the number I wish to call, on my Receiving Phone's Caller ID

3 I use Ringout to ring my mobile from the website when my own mobile is low on batteries or to other numbers. I would like to request to have to have it show my business number for the call coming in to my mobile to RingOut on instead of it showing the number I want to dial as I do not want the number to show or be saved in my call history in any case I want to have it to ring my other employees mistakenly trying to dial the customers directly through their mobile or my mobile being dialed using my personal number.

This feature would be helpful to avoid accidental call of my customers from the call log of my personal mobile phone, which is what I use to RingOut. I have kids :)

If I am understanding what you wrote properly, this sounds like an easy fix by changing a setting.

Log in to your RingCentral on-line account.   Under My Extension (if you have administrator responsibilities), then "Outbound Caller ID", "By Feature",  for "RingOut" set the caller ID by selecting from the pick list.

Thanks, but this is different.

This request is to change the number displayed on the Ringcentral user's Current Location (e.g., my mobile phone) from the number being called (with Ringout) to the Ringcentral account number.

The setting you are referencing will change the number displayed on the device of the number being called to the Ringcentral account number.

My response was to Dee, not to your post. I think your post title is as clear as it can be, since RingCentral doesn't have names/labels for the fields that are the subject of this RingOut functionality request.

4) A typical use case scenario explaining how your business would use the feature
a) Multiple Employees doing RingOut on their Mobile when on the field with no good internet reception but still needs not to show the number being dialed but needs to speak with the other party.
b) Prevents Number from being saved on the receiving phone.
