This suggestion is sort of vague - it is difficult to tell what you are asking for...

Roles Exist. 

Can be already used for security purposes to limit direct access from 3rd parties and temporary employees. 

Are you asking how to program a Role? 

Your Customer Success Manager can assist you with a walk-through for what choices to make during custom Role Creation.

We have various levels of roles enabled in our organization. Once you create a role, you can assign users to that role by check mark in the box and "assign"

My customer service manager helped me to post this because there is no option to remove the Contacts access from a role. We are working to set up a role that does NOT include the Contacts tab for security reasons. 

Maybe that is clearer?
