Salesforce Integration - Collision/Locked/Cannot be saved error

Description:
We have a sales team that calls from leads using 'Click to dial' on the Lead object. After the call these users try to add/update information on the lead record and get the below error:

"Changes Cannot Be Saved. The record you were editing was modified by Current User during your edit session."

This is intermittent, so hard to predict exactly why it happens, but it must be part of the RingCentral integration as other users do not have this issue. I cannot find any resource dealing with this issue and want to know if anyone has found a workaround or solution?

Software version: Desktop App is up to date as of 05/04/2019
