It would be nice if RingCentral had a Sandbox or test environment, where configuration can be tested prior deploying into production system.

Hi Brandon, this link is dead now. I think it's but that doesn't mention anything about a test environment - it's all about making apps.

I'm thinking Alex was maybe thinking about a place where he could set up groups, extensions, IVRs, etc, and test with them. Maybe with some restrictions like these extensions/groups can only accept/make calls from a couple different numbers, for testing externally, and can be accessed by any extension on the "main" system or between the "test" extensions to test internally.

A lot of this can already be accomplished: you can make IVRs, call queues, and other groups, at no charge. Just set it all up, test it, and tear it down. Extensions, however, need to be ordered and take some time to show up, and then you're paying for these extensions you're just using for test purposes. Also, some settings may be global, like Single Sign On, Company Info/Caller ID Name, and Auto Receptionist, so it would be nice to be able to muck with that without impacting your main deployment.

Thanks Justin.  I changed the link above. The link was still good but they removed all the content from the page.
