Scheduled Network Maintenance on Aug 31, 11pm–Sept 1, 3am

Hey Everyone,

We will be performing network availability testing between Friday, Aug 31, 11pm –Saturday, Sept 1, 2am US Pacific Time.


Why are you doing this?

Our priority is to provide our customers with a highly reliable service.  As part of this continuous effort, we sometimes need to perform some necessary system availability testing.


Why did you pick this time to conduct maintenance?

We’ve carefully planned this maintenance to minimize the impact to our customers by observing historical service patterns and chose the Labor Day weekend because of the low-impact time. 


What geographic areas will be affected?

The testing is planned for our North American services. This includes customers who have users located in other countries and continents (including Global Office).


What services may be affected?

We have proactively planned this service maintenance and taken numerous steps to ensure no effect to our customer. However, there may be intermittent connectivity issues with the RingCentral network. Users may sporadically experience dropped calls or the inability to log into mobile and desktop apps or the online portal. This could include RingCentral Office, RingCentral Meetings or Contact Center.


Could service be unavailable longer than the maintenance window?

We’ve carefully planned this maintenance to minimize the impact to any customer. We plan to take all precautionary steps to ensure that if there is any service interruption, all services are restored within the maintenance window.
