If you have a related question on this subject, please post a new topic.

When setting security questions, you have to choose from the default selection which are all orientated towards a person.

We use RingCentral in our business, so this isn't really appropriate as if that person isn't available then we cannot answer that question.

Instead, please provide a selection of security questions that would be suitable for a businesses use.

Hi Anthony,

Thanks for your post.  I can understand your reasoning for the suggestion of a different type of security question.  On the other hand, the security question should not be easily guessed by just anyone familiar with the business.  Instead, it should only be known by those who should have authorized access.

My suggestion would be to securely document the answer to the existing security question, and lock down that file to only authorized users.  Your answer to the security question does not have to match the context of the question.  (i.e. What is your favorite color? answer:  Puppies)

There are a few solutions out there designed to address the need to share passwords (or in this case answers to a security question) with authorized personnel only.

Thanks for your post Anthony,  and great suggestion Dan,

I can understand it would be nice to have other types of security questions so we'll leave this an active idea topic.

Thanks

Mike
