2018-04-04  All outage notifications are already emailed AND texted to  the SuperAdmin of record on the account.

Maybe you just need to login to the SuperAdmin email account to view these?

I am the Super Admin on our account. There are actually four others who have that role as well. None of us received any notices through email or text messages about the outage yesterday.

Unless I have missed a setting somewhere, all email addresses and phone numbers are listed correctly.

I found out about it when our team started sending me messages that they were having problems with their various devices.

You probably need to review your email setting tied to the 101 extension ---  or --- alternatively --- call your Customer Success Manager and ask them to assist you with discerning where the account master emails and text message notification are going.

We have a Super Admin extension that cannot be deleted that we use and as far as I can see, all settings and information is correct. I will contact our Account Manager about this.

Thank you for your assistance, Cecile!

I don't know of anyone who was notified of the outage the other day.  I certainly was not on EITHER account that I have.

2018-04-04  Check your Bulk Mail filter and Spam Folder --- I received every notice and update from yesterday starting at 7:15a.m. Pacific Time --- and there were many many notices of update etc.

Other resources you can use to monitor the status

RingCentral's Status Page https://servicestatus.ringcentral.com/

Cecile,

I received ones via the Community Forums platform as well. I believe they are requesting email notifications directly from RingCentral when there are outages.

That would be nice since there are more RingCentral customers than not who do not belong to these forums.

2018-04-04 All were direct emails from RingCentral, also all the text messages were also direct from RingCentral

Maybe you have to SignUp for these?  I do not recall signing up  but I am the main SuperADmin on our account and I have always gotten these.

Cecile,

Your situation might be different with 2287 Users | 3800 DID lines | 28 sites, although it shouldn't be. RingCentral has more of a vested interest in getting you information than other much smaller accounts. I'm a partner and I know of nothing to sign up for to get those notifications.

Thanks Jan I have escalated a request about it, making available to all users, regardless of their user count. This is similar to an automated notifier system we use and I am shocked to hear reports from you and others this is not a uniform Standard Operating Procedure .... will keep on this until it is available to all RC accounts uniformly, this is just solid good business. Any VOIP provider should know this.
