Being limited to sending Group Voicemails to an email only, should be updated to allow for sending Group Voicemails to Multiple extensions.  Some users may not have access to email when in remote locations such as mines.

Incredibly frustrating that this hasn't been addressed yet- listen to us!

I was shown the Avaya Cloud solution and I believe they have this feature. Why would a customer not then simply refresh with Avaya and keep the transition as smooth as possible as they are already familiar with this processes.

Someone please answer this question...does Avaya lack something RingCentral can provide? If not we may make the switch..

I just got this reply from RC in another thread about this feature, disappointing:

Not at this time, Jeff. Our Product Team is working on a face lift for Call Queues for next year. I have shared this request with them. If they ever decide to put it on the roadmap I'll be sure to update this thread. But as it stands now, there are no plans for this request in the near future.

I can't believe either I or my employee can answer the phone but if we miss a call I have to deal with it personally as I cannot set it up for both of us to get the voice-message in the app. How does this work for businesses with more employees?

Yeah, same problem here. RingCentral's solution is not great. All they will tell you to do is set up email notifications for your employee, so when a voicemail comes to the general mailbox, they will be alerted. So now your employee has voicemails mixed into their regular emails, not a great solution and very annoying for our business.

Ronda

To clarify, Did you create an email distribution list and send the voicemail message there?

Is this feature still not being worked on?  If anything it would be nice to have the feature to send email to SMS for RC users (ie. 5551234567@rctext.com), then at least we can sent multiple users a notification within the RC app and get a copy of the message attached as a mp3 format since it's support by RC sms.

Hi Michael,

This isn't on the roadmap at this time. If you would like to have voicemails sent to multiple people, currently the only way is to have multiple email addresses listed in the notification settings for the queue. Go to the queue and select "Messages & Notifications", then select "Notification"s at the bottom of the list. There you can input up to 240 characters of email addresses separated by semicolons.

I'm still shocked that there has been no one else pushing for this feature!

I think from a privacy stand point RC would want this implemented. If I was say working in an Accounting dept or HR dept and was simply listening to some confidential voicemail as email on my PC speakers, there could be some major privacy concerns!

Plus not everyone has PC Speakers in a Work Environment! Having to use codes to access Group Voicemail is ridiculous in 2019 when Legacy Deskphones can do it with one button!

RC please make this a priority!

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled We have the need to be able to leave a message in multiple mail boxes at the same....

In the old PBX systems we replaced with Ring Central we had the ability  to create a virtual Group mailbox that allowed us to leave messages on multiple voice mail boxes at the same time.

This was part of the plant communication certification process.

This is a major loss for our company.
