Desktop App: Memory Usage too high

Has anyone else noticed that the Softphone application gobbles up memory? My front counter PC is an average PC. Dual Core, 4GB of memory, hybrid hard drive. Lately I've noticed it was just dogging. HD light on constantly. All I ever really run on it is Chrome (very few tabs) and Quickbooks. So finally determined to figure out why it was so slow I start looking at the system internals and, well, come to find out the RC Softphone app was using TONS of memory:

I was floored by the memory consumption. And even idle, it was pinging the CPU for 3-10% on a regular basis. Needless to say, I disabled it on startup and recovered a nice chunk of RAM.

I also have this problem. RC desktop starts to lag and then I can't make calls or texts for no reason on my Surface Pro 1 with 4g ram AND on my Surface Pro 3 with 8g ram!!!

It does it LESS often on the SP3 but still man!

I have this same problem with RC being biggest user of Memory by 2x to 5x or more.  I have been having memory management (leaks) issues all over the place with Windows 10 since the updates, with no fix in sight.  Just added RC 2 weeks ago and find it adds to these memory woes....I really don't know what to do -- small business owner/operator basically just running Office products, Chrome, and RC, and over the course of the day have to restart my machine once or twice per day to gain enough memory to operate.  Insane.  Am stunned that RC has not directly responded to this line of concern over the last 3 years and fixed the issue.

Holy buckets!  This problem is 2+ years old now, and I too experience memory issues.  The longer that app.glip.com runs while making calls the more memory is consumed until my computer completely locks up!  How crazy!!!!!!!

The RC Phone app takes a ton of memory, but it also uses up to 60% of my CPU when a call comes in, that is insane! If my users are doing almost anything else their computer will freeze or just not register that the call is coming in.
