Based on an issue that I had with my Softphone, which required extensive Level 2 technical support, it was mentioned in my last conversation with the technician that it might be of help to suggest that functionality allowing the user to select/change the outbound proxy in the softphone General settings be included in future installation packages. As of now, it was mentioned that the only way to do so is to create a new user profile in your OS (yes, that means you'd have to create a separate user in Windows just to be able to get the SIP proxy to change), and that's just not realistic for smooth functionality. I understand why it may have been removed from the software previously, but there is most definitely a use for this function.
I respectfully submit it be incorporated/reincorporated.
