The RingCentral Softphone for Windows 10 takes a lot of resources just to run itself and some business does not use the Softphone all the time but needs to have it running on the background for notifications for Incoming Calls, Faxes, Text Messages and Voicemails. I would recommend that it has an option to automatically lower its priority status when idle for a certain amount of time.
Like, say, 5 minutes and still run on the back for possible incoming notifications.

I would also recommend to have the app an option on to have it on lower priority for customers that does not intend to use the app for receiving calls or checking statuses of other colleagues.
