RingCentral app for windows/Glip currently can be started with windows but opens the main screen. It would be nice to start it minimized automatically.

Any update on adding this functionality?

There are no plans for this at the moment.

I agree.  My morning routine shouldn't have to include remembering to startup Glip, or having to get it out of my way. Every. Single. Day.

I second this request.  I am not sure if this functionality already exists or not but it would be great to have the option to set the application that it minimizes when you click the "X" in the upper right hand corner instead of closing the app.

Agreed, please add this feature.  Nothing else starts maximized, why would you?   At the very least allow us to change this behavior from default maximized to minimized.

Agreed. It's really intrusive. Of course I can minimize it, but why should I need to do that?

Yes, sometimes I close Glip completely because it's just so annoying to have it in my list of windows and to have it taking up valuable screen space. That's a problem because I'm now off-line so I then have to start it on my mobile as a work-around.

Speaking of my phone: why does it not start with my phone? Google Messages does and so does Facebook Messenger.

If I had been choosing our messaging app, these would have been absolute deal breakers (along with the lack of threaded discussions — aka, the ability to reply to a post older than the most recent post).
