I have my number automatically roll over to voicemail when I am closed. I am not open on Saturday but sometimes come in and would like to do some work.

I need to be able to toggle my auto voicemail off so that I can take calls on Saturday and then easily switch back to normal operations.

Most weekends I wont work but having the ability to easily toggle my auto-voicemail on and off would really be helpful.

Not sure if this is THE answer - but have you tried the DND feature?

I was also going to suggest DND

I like the simplest solution using DND=Do Not Disturb

I agree if you agree - agreed?  Full disclosure, I actually use the APP feature because (for me) that's easier - but I am a nerd!!

Is that feature any different then using the DND on the phone?

Using DND on the cell phone app is easiest, because if you turn it ON on the hardphone and you leave the office and forget to turn it back ON on the hardphone you will have to go back to the office to turn it off.  Most people carry their cell phones everywhere.  :-)

So that brings a "new idea", that the DND status should be handled by any device
(like the light switches at the bottom and the upper level of a stairs), I mean, if you turn DND on the desktop hardphone, you should be able to turn it off from the softphone and viceversa.

To use the DND for what I want it would require that I remember to always turn off my calls every weekend instead of having that worked out in my hours of operation.

Besides there are days when I work late also and my phones autotically go to voicemail at 6pm so if I am waiting on a customer and he calls I wont get that call.

To be able to keep all my normal settings and toggle the auto-voicemail on and off makes more sense. I only have to manually do something if I need to work late or on the weekend instead of having to remember to do something on a regular basis whether I need to work or not.
