transfer of a call

Using Auto Recp.  Customer call in and hits 0 to talk to operator.  Operator answers.  Customer request to talk to Purchasing Agent.  Operator then hits "Transfer" RC then moves to contact list.  Operator then selects PA name and RC ask "Do you want to Transfer this call to EXT 123"  Then the operator hits YES.  Does this procedure appear to be correct?  We are all using mobile apps
