We want to be able to run reports, like any other phone provider, on our users. In addition to the number of inbound and outbound, as well as incoming and destination numbers for phone calls, why can't we run a report to see how many inbound and outbound SMS messages there are for our users, as well as the destination or incoming numbers? Seems like a basic functionality.
I am with Clean Slate Tax, users of RingCentral and we use texting more to reach our clients that we made it part of our sales process. Is there any way to get reports of users for the amount of texts sent, when, and so on? If there isn't, then is there a way to get reports of how many text each user sends? I would like to request that.

As a groing franchise insurance agency we need to document all communications with clients.
The SMS texts sent through the RingCentral apps should be tracked and save in a server and we need to have access to all those records and download them via SFTP.
We would like to ensure we can discover / store these for compliance.. Any communication with our clients is of key importance and we need to be able to retrieve this historical data. Presently this information is only saved in the sending-receiving devices and we need to have access to all records from the Administration view.If we cannot find these conversations then it would ultimately limited the use of such an excellent service. We are requesting this enhancement to fulfill our needs for global SMS reporting. Please advise.
