Unified Glip and Text Messaging, Like iMessage

This is for a US account, around 150 users, Agriculture business with many field, office, and store based users.

On iOS, Android, and Windows, it would be great if there was only one Messaging tab. If sent to another RingCentral user (internal, external optional) it would use Glip. If sent to an external phone number, default to text messaging. This is how iMessage works and seems very doable in RingCentral. Ideally, maybe just a color difference in the text, but keep all messaging threads (Glip and text) together in one menu.

This would reduce confusion on the platform between texts and messages and unify it into one. From the end user perspective, this would reduce a lot of confusion and simplify the UI greatly.

It certainly should be an option for companies/users that also use the 'Glip' teams messaging, but I believe there is a plan to allow admins to turn off components of the unified app and in that case, one that wanted to allow texts but that uses Slack or Teams for group messaging would still want to be able to see that content if they turned off the team messaging component.  Maybe an option to "also show texts in Messages list" that could be checked/unchecked?
