I have a US account and I'm currently using the RC desktop app to answer and transfer incoming calls through our RC toll free number.

Everything works fine, however I am seeking a way to modulate my voice.  Similar to how Skype has 3rd party 'voice changers'.

The problem is that I cannot find any 3rd party software that seems to work with the RC app.

I need a real-time voice changer that will integrate with the RC app.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks

Seriously - no replies?

I'm a small business and therefore answer all incoming calls.  I want to appear larger by changing my voice to be a 'secretary', 'customer support rep', etc.  This way I look like a larger business.

Online software does not work.  I've tried virtually all of them.  They change my voice through my PC, but it does not carry over to the end-user on the phone.

There's got to be a way to do this..

For what it's worth,  customers or prospective customers are not going to care about any of the stuff you are inquiring about. If you give them a quality product or service with good support they will remain as good customers. Honesty in business works, whether you are small and giving your all to your business or large with many employees. Be yourself....there will be less stress and you'll feel better for it in the long run.

I don't know of any 3rd party apps that work with RingCentral either. So, I'm changing this to a feature request so it gets reviewed by our product team. The more information you (or anyone esle is welcome) to provide, the more consideration this will get. Please provide as many applicable details as possible.

How do you imaging this feature working?  Would this be something all users would have access to, only for call queues, custom recordings (announcemnts, voicmail greetings etc)?

To help our Product Team understand your request and assure it gets more consideration, please include the following details in your request:
  1. Account type  (U.S., Canada, UK,  AT&T, Telus, BT)
  2. A brief description of the business
  3. A high level description of the product or feature being requested
  4. A typical use case scenario explaining how your business would use the feature
  5. Benefit of such feature
  6. Include any related case number if applicable

Would like to have it to do custom greetings, announcements, etc., in voices other than our own. That in place of hiring those expensive professional voice persons, or those not-expensive college students who have great voices and speaking skills but who are never around when you really need them.

Then again, one has the option of making the recordings with whatever voice changer software outside of RC and then uploading them to RC account.
