w56h Yealink Dect weak integration with platform

Yealink Dect features not supported by platform are killing us.

DECT base station allows 5 lines from separate companies on the same handset, most platforms would present a "Distinctive ring" through the provisioning platform so the user knew how to answer the phone with the correct announcement.  This feature is not enabled.

VoiceMail pickup is not enabled

Transfer button is not enabled to transfer calls.

Dial the number and then select which line you want to dial out from This feature does not work in the same way that all other phones work

We had a perfectly usable solution with the Siemens Gigaset working for the last three years with RC until you "upgraded" the platform in December 2017 January 2018 causing the gigaset to keep dropping every line assigned to the base station.

I suspect it's sloppy coding as you are treating a multi line MAC address unit in the same way you treat a single line MAC address.

With the features of the Yealink phone not being supported on the platform we are in a worse state than we would have been. Sorry not happy.

I fully agree with this. We operate a very mobile officespace. We need to be able to have a handset, and we don't want to rely on cell phones. The features on the Yealink are disappointing, at best.
