We are changing offices, once we transfer our phones to the new office, is there anything else we need to do to keep RC working great?

Hi Denise,

Most of the time our phones are plug and play (if they have been properly provisioned). However, it's always best to have your IT department verify that your Network is set up properly :)

Hi Denise,

I'd like to get some clarification from you. When you say you're changing office locations, you're referring to literally moving to a new building, correct? So your phones are already provisioned and working at your current location, and you're wondering if when you move, the phones will still work, right?

What are you referring to when you say, "So, I can just plug the phones into any main number"? That sentence is causing some confusion for me.

Yes, moving to a new building, yes to confirm will work properly at the new location.

"Plug in" is meaning using an existing phone line at the new office.

Thanks, Denise!

So when you move to a new office location, it's important to make sure that the Network the phones are on is set up according to the document I shared earlier. If the network is set up properly, your phones should work without any hiccups after moving to a new location :) So for instance, we've had employees that have moved from one office location to another. All they had to do was bring their deskphone with them, plug it it, and they continued to receive calls as normal. The phone number and extension information follows the phone and then phone will work as long as the network it is connected to is set up correctly :)
