We would REALLY like for user's extension to show instead of the full 10-digit DID.

4. We do not promote individual direct dials for our field offices.  This visibility affects us, confuses the users, and entices them to give out their number instead of the main office number.

I have put this request in before.  It probably doesn't seem like a big deal, but it's pretty big for us.  We do not promote/allow users to give out their direct dial.  Each office has a main line that should be given out to our customers/residents/etc.  Until your last major upgrade this was a non-issue.  User have been under the impression they only have a 4-digit dial and can only be reach internally.  However, when an office logs into a call group designated to them they can see--under Call Handling and Forwarding--the 10-digit DIDs associated with everyone in the office.  The only recourse we have now (at least before it was masked even though still available if they looked hard enough) is to tell them their numbers are floating numbers, that they are not married to that 10-digit number, and it is not in their benefit to give it out.  We cannot use this as our continued (adjusted) business model.  Admins need a means to show the extension or the 10-digit dial.  The upgrade should not have wiped out 1 feature while implementing a new one. 

Obviously if the direct dials get to out of hand and they begin to affect our business adversely then we have to move on from RC.  We have no way of fixing this that wouldn't involve additional monitoring--which would be more man-hours, for our I.T. Dept, to a solution that is supposed to be in the hands of the end-user(s).
