I use the Ring Central Web Portal,   As of mid last week, an update happened that changed things a bit.  Now, when I  Ring Out, by default, the FROM number is my mobile phone and I have to change it each call.   I want to edit that default back to HOME number  as it was before last week.  When reported to Support Chat, I was told that feature was removed and to make a feature request here to get it back.

Could you provide screen shots of which settings you're referring to? Feel free to block out any information you don't wish to have public.

Hi Saadet, thanks for responding.    I can't really get a screenshot of the issue because there seems to no longer be a setting to choose the default FROM number.  Here is a shot of where I want a different default..

Thanks for the information! What's interesting is that on my account the default is the Work Number...not sure why. I'm going to do some more research.

So I did some further testing on a few test accounts (this includes an account that hasn't been updated to the new version yet) and the system remembers the last used number on the Dial Out Pad.

Once we placed the test call using the Mobile number, we refreshed the page and went to place another call. The Mobile number showed up as the default. The second call we used the Home number, after the call was placed we refreshed the page and went to make another call. The Home number was set as the Default.

I thought about that myself, and was hoping once I made a call from preferred HOME number it would remember it, but for me, that is not the case. it reverts back to Mobile after every call from Home.

Hmmm....I see what you're saying. I'm not sure why it happens sometimes and not others :( I'll flip this to a request but I would suggest creating another case so that our Engineering team will know that this doesn't always work on the new version. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
