Can I change the number that is sent in the Welcome Email to my users? Currently it is the main number for the account, but they need to log in with their own number, but every single time they get through setup they use the main number that was sent in the welcome email. Unless I correct them of course.
- The admin has multiple departments w/ different main numbers, when he sets up a user for a different dept and sends a welcome email it displays 8473063740 as the main number instead of the supposed dept main number and it get the new users confused
- cx wants to not have the main number displayed on the welcome email
We have multiple locations and each location has a main number. The company number on the account is the main number for the first location we setup, which was Illinois. All our locations are in different states in the US. When we create a user, the welcome message shows the Illinois number as the company number. Can we have a modification that we can choose which number to be displayed or instead of the company number being displayed, show the line number? So instead of "Your company number is: (###) ###-####" it would say "Your line number is (###) ###-####". It would avoid a lot of confusion and calls from irate users. Thanks.
Our Product Team has made some really great updates to the Welcome Email settings for new users. Specifically, you can now change the number that displays to be the User's direct phone number and their extension number. You can learn more about these changes, and others, here.
