Hi Brian, good question, I will share with you a couple of main advantages.  First of all the flexability of haveing your calls be anywhere you are.  In most cases, as long as you have an Internet connecion you could recieve calls.

Also, the cost model.  By the user and not by the line.  The ability to configure most options via a web, smartphone or Tablet.

Software intergration, eas of use and flexability with call rules.

Cost is by the user and not by the call or Line.

In all cases you need to understand what you want out of your phone system.  In many cases I talk to people that want Ring central to behave just like the old phone system they had in place.  I could tell you that prob will not be the case.  So Understanding your requirements and deeing if RC could meet thoes requirements is key to a successful relationship with this tool.
