When Faxing from Email, Change My Phone Number.

When using our email to send a fax, the current cover sheet uses a RingCentral phone number that my clients should never see.  I need the ability to change that phone number to my real phone number.  This could be done under the fax cover settings.  A field could be added for Phone Number.  If users want to use the RingCentral phone number, there could be a check or drop-down that says "Use RingCentral Phone".  If user choose not to use this, they could type in a phone number and that would show up on the cover sheet.  Very simple.

Please explain to me where I can change the PHONE NUMBER.  Currently it puts a RingCentral Phone Number with an extension.  There is no field for PHONE, this is automatically pulled into the Fax Cover Sheet based on the RingCentral Phone and User Extension.

Hi Chris, are you referring to the outbound caller ID or the phone number that displays under the Phone section? If the latter, please vote on this thread.

I am referring to the Phone on the fax cover sheet.  The thread you are referring to appears to be talking about the Fax Phone being incorrect.  I am referring to the actual Phone with the extension.  It is putting the RingCentral phone and extension there.  We do not want that number on our Fax Cover Sheet.  That number is not the number our clients contact us by.

Hi Chris, that feature request I mentioned earlier is actually about being able to edit the Phone section on the Cover Sheet to whatever number you wish. Unfortunately, right now, you cannot edit this field.

I know this.  Once again I have went round and round with someone and we still have not got any closer to fixing this.  I look on the FAQs and multiple people have been asking for this for several years.  I am just shocked that RingCentral has not listened to their customers and made this feature available.  Not good customer service if you ask me.
