How can I send SPECIFIC callers straight to voicemail based on their Caller ID... COMPANY-WIDE

There has just GOT to be a way to handle UNWANTED callers from reaching my call-queue and wasting my company's precious time and resources. If this function exists, PLEASE let me know (and I'm NOT referring to the Blocked Numbers in the Call-Screening section.)

The reasons I believe that the "Blocked Numbers" function in the Call-Screening section is insufficient are 3 fold... based on my current understanding:
1. It is not a company-wide setting, therefore painfully inefficient to manage across all users.
2. It gives the caller a voicemail that the "Mailbox is Full" or "This number is not available from your calling area", therefore, not fully discouraging a callback from the unwanted caller. Why can't we add a custom recording here!!??!?
3. I am unable to add numbers directly to the "Blocked Numbers" list directly from my Desktop App. Why not??!  Why don't I get an option on the desktop app to "Add Caller to Blocked Callers List" ?

Hello Rob,

Thanks for you post.

Regarding the ability to block numbers, you are right, there's not a company wide setting, but assuming most of these calls are calling your main number you can handle this by setting advanced rules based on the incoming caller ID.  View this page for the procedure: Adding an Advanced Call Handling rule   Unfortunately it is not a company wide setting so if you need to add  the rule to other numbers in your account you just have to do it for each number. You'll be able to specify if you want the caller to be disconnected, connect to an extension, or hear a greeting and you can upload a custom greeting.

You actually can block numbers from the desk top app. If you go to the Messages screen and click the Voice tab, you'll see a list of your calls. Just click on the call that you want to block and the button shown below is the block button.

Please add the ability to block calls from the PC desktop application; it's really a pain to have to log into the website to do this and I've been getting a lot of unwanted calls.
