Why is there an automated "we are recording this call for quality control" message that plays before my voicemail message?

When my US toll free number is called, instead of going directly to the voicemail box (as it did just yesterday), it is now playing an automated message "we are recording this call for quality control". Why? I did not set this up. How do I turn it off? Could it be because we are forwarding to our toll free number from another dynamically created number in Goolge AdWord ads?

Is the toll-free number provided by Ring Central?

Yes the toll free number associated with the voicemail is from RingCentral (as is the vm box).

The phone number is on our site. There is code/script on the site that dynamically changes the phone number when someone clicks to the site from a Google search ad. They dial the dynamically created phone number which forwards/rings to our RingCentral number/vm box. When that happens there is the automated "quality control" message, a slight pause, and then our vm box message is heard.

If i dial our toll free number directly, it goes straight to the vm box message without the quality control message or pause.

Yep, your culprit is Google.  Here is some information that may help you correct from your AdWord. https://www.calltrackingmetrics.com/products/call-tracking/google/
