Why are outbound calls ringing then giving a busy signal?

Today for some reason lots of our users are reporting that when they try to make outbound local calls, it rings once or twice, then goes to a fast busy. Why is this, and how do we fix it?

This is the first I've heard of this error this morning.

What country are you located?

Also, does this happen for all of your users or just a few of them (and only to a few numbers or all)?

We are in the United States. This is seems to be effecting some users, and not others. A few users it was happening to, then it started working again, but others still can not dial out.

Some times we can call the same number a bunch of times in a row, and sometimes it will eventually go through, other times does not.

When it is happening, it is for all numbers.

Im having somewhat of the same issue today. I can get incoming calls but cant call out. It sounds like it is ringing from my end but it never actually connects with the receiver or rings their phone. Help !!!

All users in my office cannot make outgoing calls on desk phones or with the app on mobile. We can receive incoming calls.

We have 20 toll-free numbers with Ring Central that unconditionally call forward to local numbers. All toll-free numbers stopped working (ring-no-answer) at ~10:00 AM EST today.

Still on hold with Ring Central waiting for support to answer (30 minutes).

I'm in the US and am experiencing in consistent call-out failure. When I try to dial out, the other end will begin to ring, but it will go way past the normal amount of rings and never connect. I haven't received a busy signal, just infinite rings.

Oddly, as a test, I tried calling my cell phone, and my cell did ring.

Are you experiencing a similar issue?

I'm in Tennessee and we are having the same issue. We are unable to receive or make any phone calls. We have a dial tone but regardless of what number you dial out, it just continuously rings (on our end). I have tried to call my mobile phone from our office RingCentral phone and on my RingCentral phone in continuously rings, but the call never actually goes through to my mobile phone. We have also not received any phone calls all morning, neither on our phone sets or forwarded to our forward numbers. I am currently on hold with Ring Central where the message tells me that the current hold time is 18 minutes.

We have the same problem.  It does not happen every time, it appears to be random, but it is a big problem when you have people trying to dial out and cannot. Please fix this problem.
