Will Ringcentral meetings and outlook plugin work in Citrix server 2016?

We have Saas, and are looking to upgrade our Citrix version. However, we need to check if Ringcentral meetings and the outlook plugin will continue to work once we upgrade.

We currently run RingCentral with a couple of Client applications on our existing Citrix servers which run server 2008R2. We want to upgrade them to server 2016 (Citrix servers only). We have RingCentral Outlook plugin and RingCentral meetings. Do both of these run on server 2016 as the client? Is there anything we should know before commencing the upgrade?

Thanks

Hey, Julie!
We might recommend working closely with your CSM to tackle this transition. They'll be able to support you.
Let us know how it goes or if we can help further!

Hi Julie, did this work for you?  We are looking at the same scenario.

Thanks

we are using web browser in citrix and the app outside of citrix. All non video functionality is fine in citrix but we are directing users to the app outside of citrix for video use.
Good Luck!

I am curious as well. We recently had RC Meetings app would load and run in Citrix. We only used it to view screen sharing. But it would seem that after VDA update to 1912CU1, the Meetings app does not function. Can anyone confirm/deny this is the case. Also, my RC Outlook plugin has never working in Citrix.

Crash dump location.
Try starting RingCentral Meeting in compatibility mode WIN8.
This is the only workaround I was able use to get it to work inside citrix. Only issue so far is it opens up 2 windows. 1 for participants and 2nd for meeting settings and a shared screen if 1 is shared.

We have issues with Meetings in a Citrix environment where the "connecting" pop up spins for several minutes.

This has been traced down to proxy bypass list length (if proxy is enabled but bypass list is empty, it connects immediately)  If the proxy bypass list is full, it takes up to 5 minutes before finally connecting to a meeting.

Everything has been whitelisted/opened and doesn't appear to be network related as it has no issues when bypass list is empty.

Running ProcMon, there are almost 4 times as many events with Windows Registry key create/read/write that appear to be taking up the time.

This isn't network related because ProcMon shows networking time between two environments the same - the event count is higher with the more entries in the bypass list - almost like it's enumerating every entry through IE settings/registry keys.

Anyone else have this issue?
