Finally..., RingCentral starts supporting wireless headsets, now we can use the Plantronics headset to mute, hold, pickup, hang up, when plugged in or Bluetooth connected to a Windows computer. Good news...

Now PLEASE activate support for JABRA headsets...

How to get Plantronics headset to answer and disconnect calls wirelessly.
1. Update RingCentral desktop app for Windows to version or later.

2. Going to About in Settings the Check for Updates does not always work. I had version 7.4.something and it told me it was current.

3. Log in to your account on the web and downloaded the app to get the latest version.

4. After installing when RingCentral is started it should recognize your Plantronics headset and prompt whether you want to use it to answer calls. Say yes.

Now your wireless headset will finally work to answer and hang up calls when you step away from your desk.
