2. We are a professional cleaning company that is now offering franchise opportunities.
3. The ability for customers to input their zip code and then be routed to the nearest franchise.
4.Because we are franchising, we would need our customers to be able to call our business phone number, enter the zip code of their residence and then be routed to the nearest franchise in their location. For example, I would call the 855#, enter my zip of 08816 and it should route me to the Middlesex County Franchise

Hi there, just a thought here, if you have the premium plan there is an advanced IVR and you could instead of doing it individually per Zip code have a message that states if you zip starts with a 6 or 5 or 3 ETC, then tell them to press the appropriate number to get to the right group
You would have to look at all the zips and group according to what makes sense, but this could be done.

I'm not sure if this would work. Franchisees will have a protected territory of up to 500k population. In say the Bronx NY theres a potential for 5 or 6 franchises. Same zip codes for the most part but it would need to be routed appropriately to the specific franchise. We are also looking to sell at least 300 locations, so that would mean we would need 300 groups. Is that even possible?

I was thinking about this over the weekend and there are over 43,000 zipcodes in the US alone I would think that this is quite a project to first program this in to any phone system to process and get the call to the right person. You need to regionally break this up to figure out the best way to get the call routed.
It may make sense to get local numbers so that you could track the calls comming in.
or route by incoming area code. That may help also.

That would be perfect. As of right now, we have found that Fluent Stream offers zip code routing. We would most likely have it broken up by the county because most of our territories will be by county.
We really don't want to use another service. We love that RingCentral is so user friendly and has a mobile app that works so well. We have never had any issues with call quality either. We are really hoping that zip code routing becomes a viable option because we'll stick with this service instead of trying to find another one.

Hello,
Did you find a solution to this? there is something offered by other companies called geographical call routing. (callers input the zip code they call from and done)
I would hate to go to all the trouble to switch companies so I was wondering if you figured something out with ring central.

I think there might've been miscommunication. We were hoping that the zip code routing would come through as a service that Ring Central offers. So we don't have to switch carriers.

I have not heard that being on any road map, Why cant you use areacodes?

It is, because FluentStream offers it. Which is who we are going to use. We can't use area codes because we are franchising and offering services that coincide with zip codes, not area codes.

I am looking for the "SAME EXACT THING". I too have a franchise that is looking for the same option. Great option to have. Please let me know if this is being considered. I don't want to have to leave also.
