Headphones issue

When answering on headphones for the first 10 seconds the caller's voice is very faint. How can I rectify this? It is very annoying especially working in a very loud office.

There isn't a setting that does this. This sort of issue doesn't have to do with underlying phone system provider, nor with the internet provider. It is to do with one of the calling parties, and since it's a recurring issue on your end, when you are speaking to different people, chances are that the issue is on your end.

Start by figuring out where the issue comes from - is it the headphones or is it your computer? For example swap headphones with 1 of your colleague for a day. If the issue goes to your colleague, it's easy to get new headphones.
If you have new headphones, but the issue still happens on your end, you need to rule-in or rule-out a computer issue. Best way is to use another device. (swap seats with 1 of your colleagues - you'll be using the same provider, just a different device.)

After you do this we can figure out the best course of action and further troubleshooting
