Questions for API Usage

My company would like to send an SMS to users automatically based on an event that would trigger the text.

1.) Would we be able to use our company number(Or any number) to send the message instead of the one assigned in production? I noticed that there is a "from" field in the API, but just wanted to make sure.

1. Only the owner of a RingCentral phone number can be authorized to send SMS messages from that phone number. See more details from this dev guide article.

2. Standard SMS numbers do not support opt-out. But high volume SMS currently does support this.

We do have a no-code solution that might help you. Check this out to see if you can just simply use the app.
