Our company would like to add a page on our web site employee portal to allow our employees to sign on to the RingCentral portal. Is there any code (HTML, Java, etc) you have to embed in our site to pass the login info to the RingCentral web portal?

Using the RingCentral API, you are able to create an integration for allowing a user to authenticate into their RingCentral user account (enabling further integration with RingCentral). We don't have full parity with our API resources to match the operability of the Online Account Portal at this time (but we're getting closer).

You can test API resources RingCentral has available today in the API Explorer: http://ringcentral.github.io/api-explorer/

Thanks for the reply. I believe this answers the question. We could definitely just do a link but our other cloud service providers (ShareFile, WebEx, etc) supplies code snippets to customize a client web page to make the process appear to be more seamless. We also have a user meta database that contains the login credentials so we can simulate single login across all the other cloud service providers but we need to be able to pass the credentials directly to make this work.

Maybe this can be a future request. If anyone else has hacked something together I would be interested.

All the best

Richard

Wouldn't that just be a link to service.ringcentral.com?

We do not currently provide any type of login widget for the Online Account Portal (that I'm aware).

We are interested in the RingCentral Online Account Portal. You have a code generator that can "Add a Click-to-Call Button to Your Website" which generates the code for a "RingMe" function form a client web site. I am interested in something similar that allows account sign on from a client web site.

Do you want to have the employees sign into the RingCentral Online Account Portal, or sign into a particular integration which can provide interoperability with the soft phone (similar to our RingCentral Salesforce integration) please?
