Glip is used by our whole business across several countries as a means to have quick collaborative conversations. Controlling when an update occurs in Glip would be of value. Updates to Glip pop up as a notification but there is no means to control when it happens. Work in progress is lost when the update runs. Ideally users should be able to delay the update until finishing a message or select to have it update at a later time.

Thanks for the response.  Weekends are definitely better as they are low traffic times.

Hey Leisa! Usually users are able to ignore releases. However, this one was a bit different. We apologize for the inconvenience and I've shared it with our Product Team who will make a more concerted effort to schedule these during the weekend.
