Company Numbers Report - Call count in numbers tab does not match call detail tab

I have a client who runs a company number report and the data shows 61 calls when looking at the trends and 126 calls in the call detail. What is the methodology for calculating calls to a company number and why would this be different than what is reported in the call detail?
