Why is there a delay in call connection when answering a call on mobile?

When my mobile rings through the Ring Central app. There is a great delay in the call being connected after answering. I have to say "hello" three times before I hear the caller. It is rather frustrating!

Hello Greg, apologies! I would highly suggest uninstall the app and reinstall it. If the issue occurs, please open a case HERE, and our phone support will investigate it for us. Thank you for your patience in this matter.
