Enabling custom fields for your account, error: BIL-103

One of RingCentral's most popular features is custom fields. However, this feature is often not enabled by default. If you are receiving the following error:

Then the custom field feature needs to be enabled for your account, which can be done free of charge by our support team:

When you file your ticket with support, be sure you clearly state in what environment you need custom fields enabled (e.g. sandbox or production). Doing so will ensure the right team is processing your request and that your ticket will be processed as quickly as possible.

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 1.0 MiB each and 10.0 MiB total.

Tip: switch to the "sandbox mode" before logging in the app:

  • On MacOS: press "fn + command + f2" keys
