Hi, now that we have the RingCentral integration, we run into a problem, when customer calls and we want to transfer the calls internally, the only contacts we can see, are the salesforce contacts (party) but not the RingCetral contacts list, it anything that we can do to hide the salesforce contacts from the contact list.
Thank you
Let me know if they found anything, thank you
Also the warm transfer, it not enable on the integration
Hi @Lenin Garcia
The warm transfer feature is not supported yet on the salesforce integration
The engineering team have this planned on their Q2-Q3 roadmap
Thank you
No worries.
@Lenin Garcia Just to add more context. The warm transfer has a dependency on RingCentral contact support in salesforce and hopefully, with the release of that, the team will get to the warm transfer feature
Hi @Lenin Garcia, I'll check if this is possible.
Yes, let me know, we can have a quick call if you want
@Lenin Garcia I'm waiting for a response from the Integrations Team. I'll get back to you once I get this sorted.
Thank you
Hi @Lenin Garcia
I just checked with the engineering team and this feature is being worked on currently.
We are planning to get this feature of showing RingCentral contacts on the integration app out by Q1 end or Q2 beginning this year
Thank You Yatin, do you know if is any work around, maybe adding the user manually to call directory on salesforce.
Just heard back from the engineering team on this.
There might be a workaround with some limitations but you would need help setting that up.
I would suggest you create a support case at https://support.ringcentral.com
The plan is that you would want to set up a custom object support for matching logic. The support team should be able to help you with this.
Hope this is helpful
