2nd call going right to vm if i am already on an active call - desktop app

i'd like the option to put active call on hold and answer incoming - is this a setting option that i just cannot find? please help!

Hi Erin, is this a direct call to your extension or from the call queue as a member?

When you're in a call do you see a notification that you have another incoming call?

Thanks so much Mary (I posted the last comment too soon without thanking you!).
I do not see an incoming call notification, I only see that I have a voicemail after the fact.

Not a problem! Can you please go to your Settings and click Notifications and sounds? Check the screenshot below and see if the options that I highlighted in yellow are enabled on your end.
