We recently became a new RingCentral customer with 169 phones deployed across the company. In the RingCentral admin portal, under phones and devices > User Phones, there are are two entries that show the user's computer hostname as a Softphone. Why is this?
Hi @Joe Anderson, can you send here a screenshot so I can see what you're referring to?
It means that those user's assigned phones are not desk phones but the app only.
But they are assigned desk phones. This is not happening for our other users. Same user for both of these items.
You may click it and press Deauthorize, then it should disappear.
