How do I disable the standalone phone option in the desktop app?

According to this Desktop App support page, I can disable the Use Standalone Window For Phone Calls option in Settings. You can see by the below image that the option does not appear in my Desktop App Settings.

We're running 32.2.21.7380, which seems to be the latest version.

in the top right corner of the app there is a slider that says "new layout"
If I turn it OFF i see the option you want to disable.
If I turn it ON the option is not visible.

So you have to switch to the old layout, change the setting, and if you want you can switch back to the new layout.

Unfortunately, Welcome01's solution does not work. At least not in the latest version.

It probably should work but the Use Standalone Window For Phone Calls option no longer has any effect - in either New Layout or Old Layout.

Whether the option is on or off:

Old Layout: The Call Window stays framed inside the app.

New Layout: The Call Window becomes standalone.

I've tested this behavior on two different instances (diff computers) of the new app, using two different RC accounts. The behavior is consistent. The option seems to be broken.

Can someone please check and confirm this behavior?

Should I repost this as a new issue?
