PHP SDK cannot create new contacts

We are using PHP SDK to import contacts to RingCentral. The import was working fine, but recently it fails to add a new contact.

When I try to add the new contact it throws below error

Contact cannot be created: max contacts count reached (10000)

How to change the limit. Kindly help me to fix the issue

It is not a programming issue. It's a limit enforced by RingCentral that you cannot have more than 10K contacts.

I am not aware of a way to remove or change the limit.

Let me post this issue to my colleagues to see if they have any ideas.

For now we have no idea how to workaround this.  It is by design.

From a programmer's perspective, there is no workaround.

Please contact customer support and see if they can remove this limit for you.

RC only allows you to upload maximum of 10k contacts per extension. The only workaround I can suggest is to swap the contacts  - you can choose to swap based on least used / unused contacts .
