RC Meeting with screen sharing pegs my CPU which slows my Dell windows laptop

Quad-core 2GHz CPU and 16GB of mem. The processor utilization goes up into the 90% range with RC Meeting running. I can't use my browser while this is happening. After I close my meeting, CPU is in the 20% range.

Is there anything that can be done to tune RC Meeting?
