Proof of ownership of hold music

The PRS/PPL have contacted us to pay for licensing for using the hold music within RingCentral and inContact.

RingCentral and inContact have not been able to come back to us with ownership rights.

We can change the provided music to out of copyright classical/ other non copyright music but we are surprised that the paperwork isn't available to prove that we don't require a licence/that the owners of the copyright have agreed our use.

Has anyone else encountered this? If so, what was your solution?

Hi,  Thanks for responding and I have received an email from your legal team. However, I've had no follow up despite chasing last week - any further news on this?
