Personal Meeting IDs, What is the the impact of changing your PMI on previously scheduled or recurring meetings?

What is the the impact of changing your PMI on previously scheduled or recurring meetings? Is it accurate that once you change your PMI, any meetings previously scheduled and/or recurring with the original PMI embedded will no longer be available? Can I have multiple meetings scheduled each with a different PMI that are still valid meetings?
