My profile picture does not show on ring central meetings when I have my camera turned off

I was using RingCentral Messages app.  Tech support had me install the Unified app.   Support lead me down so many steps because nothing they tried worked, however, it's now working, just not exactly sure which step fixed it.  Urg.
