Duplicate download via API request

I download the call log and the recorded calls daily. The call log is a csv file and the calls are mp3 files. They all come together in a zip file. I then run that through some automated processes. That all works great.

What I would like to do is request that exact information via an API call. I've looked through the documentation and seen a lot of detailed data that I can request, but how can I simply get the equivalent of the download file?
