Ring central webphone need app key

Hi, I'm integrating your ringcentral webphone library to develop a webRTC phone app, but the object responsible for creating the connection (the WebPhone object) has the appkey as a parameter. Because a webRTC application is implement in the client-side you need to store the appkey in the navigator, is not that a security problem?, what do you suggest about that
